The book "Garabagh – the Eternal Memory of Azerbaijan Heritage" was published

The book titled Garabagh – the Eternal Memory of Azerbaijan Heritage was published on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The book was published to a high printing standard. It includes about 300 colour illustrations, measurements and drawings of monuments which are currently under occupation. Architectural construction, archaeological sites and stone plastic arts are all presented. The book is divided into chapters which describe the monuments of each of the occupied regions. The most significant monuments are presented in independent articles and accompanied with illustrative materials. A glossary of names of historic persons who feature in the book and a complete list of historical and cultural monuments currently under occupation are included at the end of the book.
The book is published in Azerbaijani and English. It bears significant meaning in acquainting society in the country and abroad with a part of the Azerbaijani cultural heritage which requires special attention. The book is also important for showing the condition of the monuments before the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan plans to publish a number of books on this theme in the future.
