Baku will host a national conference on the potential of Azerbaijan's cultural routes on February 28-29.
The event organized by the Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture will be attended the Executive Secretary of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes, director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes Stefano Dominioni, heads of cultural institutions and other officials.
Azerbaijan joined the Cultural Routes programme in 2011. The country is now represented in 5 cultural routes as part of the project.
Azerbaijan also joined the International Cultural Route ”Wine Road" in 2011, to the European Cultural Route for Jewish Heritage in 2015, while in 2016 Azerbaijan entered to the European Route of Historic Thermal Towns and in 2019 to the Eruopean Council's Routes of Olive Tree.
